Last month, I transferred my Roth Ira account from Fidelity to Robin Hood to get the 2% match. I just found out today. Robin Hood does not have a cash sweep for Ira accounts. Also for beneficiaries the only offer and even split between the beneficiaries with no contingent beneficiary. For these reasons I am immediately moving my account back to Fidelity. I estimate I lost over $1000 in interest income because I'm not reading the fine print on Robin Hood's advertising. I did look at what a gold account was and they said there was a 4% interest available, however they pay that on regular taxable accounts and not on IRAs. I guess I should've known there was a catch with the 2% bonus. I didn't realize Robin Hood treated IRAs differently for cash sweeps.
